The team is looking forward to working with the BBC in the coming month.

We were delighted to be a part of the Make Your Mark and BERR event for entrepreneurs in London this week. A joint event including an inspiring award ceremony for some of the brightest young entrepreneurs and a session to discuss the future the governments enterprise strategy. It was also the official launch of the Global Entrepreneurship week attended by Gordon Brown and Carl Schramm. It was a very interesting event, and the attitude of the government towards entrepreneurship is encouraging for the future. Watch the video of the Prime Minister's speech.

Fluid Pixel Studios is off to China to exhibit at the 3rd China International Software Products Expo in Nanjing. Leaving on the 30th Aug and returning on the 7th Sept. We hope to be meeting some great companies at this event and will post any developments from our time there.

Fluid Pixel Studios is trying to give something back to the great Flash Lite community by getting involved with the UK Mobile and devices User Group UK Mobile and devices User Group. The group was started recently by Matt and he has done a great job getting it off the ground and useful for the community, and our aim is to try and help build on his success.

Working on over 30 Flash Lite 2.0 enabled phones, this fun puzzle game will test your nerves and ability; this is a maze puzzle game with a difference! The idea is simple, get the ball into the hole. But you don't move the ball, instead you must rotate the maze. With 75 challenging levels to navigate, each harder than the last, will you be able to master this puzzling game.

Our very own Stuart Varrall is doing an online seminar on the 10th May to the Adobe UK Flash Lite user group. He will be discussing the games we have created as well as giving an overview of Flash Lite in the UK and how the new community can help make it a success.

After an intensive "Dragons Den" style pitch, followed by 6 weeks training, mentoring and plenty of hard work, Fluid Pixel Studios have been awarded the top business award from Nesta. We are proud to have taken part in the Insight out course, which is designed to drive forward promising businesses. During the course we have had the opportunity to work with some great people, and companies and wish to thank everyone who was a part of the great experience.

We attended a networking event in Newcastle promoting the exciting opportunities in the North East to Korean Companies. At this event we had a chance to discuss the distribution of our games in the Korean market.

The typing game developed for a competition involving the upcoming PSP keyboard has won a prize. We entered a game for the competition on the FITC web site and are honoured to have received a prize bundle including PSP accessories and UMD films.
